It’s been a little hectic! but wonderful. I hosted and produced another feature for Chicago Public Radio, about the music of “Al son que me toques, Lorca”, which kicks off the Latino Theater Festival at the Goodman and showcases traditional Mexican music in the adaptation written and directed by the talented Laura Crotte. I’ll share three of the musics that are integrated into the play and that I incorporate into the radio feature: La muerte del Mapache (Son Huasteco), La Morena by Son de Madera (Son Jarocho) and Bulerías by Paco Peña (Flamenco). ¡Ha habido mucho quehacer! pero todo maravilloso.
