As a recognized music curator and tastemaker, she writes a weekly column for HOY (Tribune Media), and contributes to NPR's The Record, Nat Geo Music, Revista Contratiempo, and Gozamos. Catalina also frequently makes appearance on NPR programs such as Alt.Latino, World Cafe and Chicago's WBEZ.
