Just came back from what must be one of the most privileged spots on earth, music-wise and beauty-wise, having participated in WOMEX for the third time. I love these day to dawns that are filled with sounds and like-minded folk who love connecting cultures through the music. The experience nurtures me for a long, long time… I´ll be sharing the music I discovered with you in the next Beat Latino on Radio Arte, but in the meantime, here´s some music about the magnificent city the conference is held in… Sevillanas by Sabicas, a song about the Alcazar de Sevilla by Paco de Lucia, and Gerardo Nuñez song about Sevilla. Fui a participar por tercera ocasión al festival y congreso de WOMEX . Me encantan estos días y estas largas noches y amaneceres llenos de música y de gente que le encanta unir diversas culturas a través de la música.
