The idea of a new Cuba-US era of rapproachement has me thinking a lot about the Cuban music I love. So, this week’s #beatlatino shares some of my favorite 100% Cubano music, created from within Cuba. Of course, it would be impossible to do the topic justice in one hour, so please consider this is just a sampler of some of my favorites, in celebration of having more and more access to the amazing music created by this island–just 90 miles away–that has for too a time been out of our reach. ¡Viva Cuba!
