Federico Aubele is coming to town to release his fifth album, aptly titled 5, a magical set of lush, beautifully textured soundscapes which he creates with vocals, bandoneon sampling and the chords of his nylon-string guitar.

We had a chance to chat with Aubele and get the scoop on the album, which will be celebrated in Chicago at Martyr’s  on Sunday at 8:00. The new recording and the concert also include the participation of Natalia Clavier (solo artist, live vocalist of Thievery Corporation and his wife) another one of our favorite artists.
