To quote my colleagues at AfroPop World Wide, “music is the key to everything”. It certainly is my passion! As I live in constant awe of its divine gift bestowed on musicians, and in total appreciation of the joy they bring us by exercising their creativity, it is one of my greatest pleasures to converse with musical artists. The conversation with Black Nature of the Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars was no exception, and proved to me once again the immense power of the music. In concert tomorrow at the Mayne Stage!

Como dicen mis colegas en AfroPop World Wide, “la música es la clave a absolutamente todo”. ¡Sin duda es una de mis grandes pasiones! Y vivo en constante admiración de cómo los músicos ejercen ese don divino, y la gran felicidad que nos permiten sentir gracias a sus creaciones musicales. Por lo tanto, me encanta platicar con músicos. Siempre me dejan alguna idea o punto de vista fascinante. La conversación con Black Nature del grupo Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars no fue ninguna excepción a esta regla, y me dió amplia evidencia del poder inmenso de la música.
