It is always exciting when the language and the music parts of my life intersect. My work in translation, music and radio journalism have intersected for me in the Braceros Case. The story of the Braceros Program, the settlement just accorded, are just the beginning of what I hope is the greatest esteem and recognition for the more than four million Mexicans who came as part of the program during 1942 to 1964, as well as the many million others who continue to share their talents, energy and labor in this country.
