Falleció hace dos días el gran músico cubano Orlando “Cachaíto” López. Junto con Compay Segundo, Ibrahim Ferrer y Ruben González, fue uno de los fundadores del altamente premiado Buena Vista Social Club, y ahora los acompaña a ellos, como los acompañó en esta canción: Ocoromiyaré, Guaguanco para los rumberos. Lo extrañaremos mucho. The great cuban bass player Orlando “Cachaíto” Lopez passed away February 9. Cachaito was one of the Buena Vista Social Club founders along with Compay Segundo, Ibrahim Ferrer and Ruben Gonzalez. He accompanies them now, as they have passed on also – here they are all together on Ocoromiyaré, Guanguacó para los rumberos. He will be missed, as they all are.
