Are you anywhere near Albuquerque? Well start driving to Globalquerque, at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. A wonderful two-day globalganza of music surrounded by the amazing and ever awe-inspiring skies of the southwest…It´s hard to know where to begin, but I am, for example, looking forward to the electronic lando of Novalima, the New Mexican heritage of hispanicity musically expressed by Viva la Pepa, the cutting-edge L.A.ness of Cava, and the jarocho rooted and evolving of Mono Blanco! at the very least….!!! ¿Les queda cerca Albuquerque? Pues pónganse en camino de Globalquerque, festival extraordinario de músicas del mundo que se realiza en el National Hispanic Cultural Center. Y todo esto rodeado de los cielos y las nubes de los legendarios cielos de Nuevo México… Muchísimo de donde escoger, pero no nos perderemos del landó electrónico de Novalima, las raíces de hispanicidad expresados por Viva la Pepa, la vanguardia musical mexico-americana de Cava, y las raíces del jarocho que no dejan de enriquecerse y evolucionar con Mono Blanco. ¡eso, mínimo….!!!
