We had a chance to visit with indie diva Carla Morrison at this year’s LAMC, a wonderful opportunity to get insights into the Mexican singer/songwriter’s creative process and musical philosophy. Her sweet and often-lamenting ballads have won Morrison worldwide acclaim as well as two Latin Grammys last year, and it will be a treat to have her in town again as part of the National Mexican Museum of Art’s Del Corazón Festival on Saturday, October 5.
