We had a chance to visit with Greek-Venezuelan singer/songwriter Ulises Hadjis at last year’s LAMC, and learn about the creative process that led this philosopher/musician to three Latin Grammy Award nominations in 2012, in the categories of “Best New Artist,” as well as “Best Alternative Album,” for Cosas Perdidas and “Best Rock Song” for his single, “Dónde Va.” (He had previously been awarded a Latin Grammy in 2007 for his work as a sound engineer).

It will be a treat to have Hadjis in town again to open up for Natalia Lafourcade on December 8 at Joe’s Bar!
